Our Story

Based in New Hampshire, Play in Velvet is a one woman business, bringing you luxury, couture BDSM & Kink Gear.

This story began with my desire to create a truly luxurious collar. One that looks delicate but acts sturdy - something that combined the finest materials with precise construction and survived play time. Creativity, sensuality and exploration are three important pillars in my life, and so this shop was born.

Each design is thoughtfully planned out, machine-sewn & meticulously decorated and tested for durability.

A great deal of effort goes into sourcing the materials, hardware and jewels. Materials that include Luxury Satin imported from France and Japan, genuine Swarovski crystals from Austria, and heavyweight hardware from the Czech Republic.
